Born in Downtown Los Angeles and set to scale, Kodo needed to evolve from a boutique hospitality concept into a brand that could travel across cities, cultures, and senses without losing its soul. We helped define a brand rooted in presence over performance, crafting an identity that moves fluidly between stillness and energy, intimacy and connection. Subtly inspired by Japanese principles of simplicity, balance, and craftsmanship, Kodo translates these values into a contemporary, global experience.


At its core, Kodo is not a place you stay, it’s a rhythm you arrive into. From tone of voice to textures, from space to plate, every element was designed to breathe, pulse, and move, in sync with the guest, not in service of spectacle.
